MENTAL PROCESSING OF INFORMATION- Abstract

The paper is a general review of the problems of mental phenomena in the light of the general scientific theories which describe the physical and biological worlds, of the recent discovered possibilities of molecular and quantum processing of information, and of the new effort to build electronic brains after the model of the neural system of the natural brain. New philosophical ideas, not without some scientific bacground, are also taken into account.
