The seminar in Luxembourg was also used for the launch of a study carried out by ELSNET for the European Commission, the results of which were published in October 1994 as Survey of Language Engineering Organisations in Central and Eastern Europe. This document contains profiles of over 100 language engineering organisations in the following Central and Eastern Europe and Newly Independent States: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.
